BOOKINGS

Due to late cancellations and financial loss, bookings cannot be confirmed until we receive your booking form or e-mail AND deposit or savings deduction request.
Deposits are 20% of the total cost, unless you book a show. We have to pay the travel company up front for tickets, so deposits will be stated on the trip details. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
A booking form is a commitment to travel. If you cancel within 15 days of the date of travel, you are liable for 50% of the total cost, within 8 to 14 days, 70% and less than 8 days, the full cost must be paid.
Balances must be paid 6 to 8 weeks before travel.
Your travel tickets and details of the itinerary will be sent to you 7 to 10 days before travel.

Please make cheques payable to “St. Woolos Sports and Social Club” and state the trip on the back of the cheque.

12th April	Newark, Fair, Nottingham
	Newark is one of the largest fairs in Europe displaying around 4,000 indoor stalls, 1,000 individual shopping arcades, 50 marquees and 1,000’s of outside pitches, offering a huge variety of ceramics, silverware, jewellery, paintings, prints, books and much more. We stay at the Novotel Hotel Nottingham, for one night, d/b/b, (full English), and including a 2 day entry ticket to the fair		Members £99 Guests £105

1st - 4th June	Queen’s Diamond Jubilee
	To mark 60 years of the Queen’s reign, the Diamond Jubilee will take place during an extended Bank Holiday weekend in early June 2012. Buckingham Palace will be co-ordinating a programme of events, the highlight being a Diamond Jubilee pageant on the Thames. A flotilla of up to 1,000 boats, the largest ever in modern times, will take place on 3rd. June. This historical occasion will be an celebration to relate to our grandchildren and great-grandchildren for many years. This 4 day trip includes bed and full English breakfast in the central 4* Hilton Metropole Hotel.		Members £259 Guests £265

5th June	Fun City, Brean Sands
	Brean Sands Leisure Park is the largest in South West England and provides a fun day out for all the family. Admission to the park is free, so if you just want to watch, you only pay for transport. For all the fun of the fair and unlimited rides, pre-order a wristband when you book with us. There are rides to suit everyone - Astro Storm, Europe’s best massive dark ride roller coaster, motorised boats complete with water cannon, kids’ Fantasia and much more. Transport: Adult members with one free child £10, (additional child £6 each). Wrist bands: Under 3 years £10, all others £13.50 Adult guests (non-members) £10 child £6. 15th June	Ostend, Drinks Inclusive, (local beers, wines and soft drinks)
	Ostend is described as the cultural capital of the Belgian coast – a lively and cosmopolitan seaside resort. This trip includes 4 days, 3 nights at the Royal Astor Hotel, ideally located near the beach, casino and town centre, d/b/bb, return ferry or shuttle crossings, and excursions to Brussels and Bruges		Members £249 Guests £255

20th June	Royal Ascot Ladies’ Day
	Royal Ascot is the main event of any Summer social calendar. Steeped in tradition the Royal Meeting attracts over 300,000 race-goers each year. We stay at the London Hilton Metropole, bed and full English breakfast and Grandstand admission is included, which provides excellent facilities and viewing area at ground and lawn level. 30th July	Paulton’s Leisure Park and Peppa Pig World
	Join us for a day of thrills and spills in this family theme park, which caters for all ages. Are you brave enough to try The Cobra and the Raging River Ride or would you prefer to study the penguins and meerkats? Peppa fans will love the Big Balloon Ride, George’s Dinosaur Adventure and Windy Castle. Start the holidays with this fabulous day trip – the children will love you for it! 3rd August	Trains and Canals
	Experience journeys that will take you back in time and relax as you travel on a rare horse drawn barge through the beautiful Devon Countryside. Relive your childhood as you travel along one of Britain’s best and longest heritage railways. We stay at the Best Western Hotel on a d/b/b basis for 3 days, 2 nights and the trip includes a journey on the Tiverton Canal horse drawn barge, a journey on the West Somerset Railway and lunch in Minehead on the return journey. 16th August	Brussels, Carpet of Flowers
	Every 2 years, the market place is decorated with over 800,000 begonias, transforming the square into a stunning floral fresco. The coloured plant tapestry can be best admired from the balcony of the City Hall, which is open to the public for the occasion. 20th August	Folly Farm Adventure Theme Park and Zoo – Special Appearance by Ben and Holly
	Join us for this fun-filled day trip to Folly Farm, winners of “Best Family Day Out in Wales”. The whole family can enjoy the zoo with hundreds of exotic and farm animals, a vintage funfair and a host of indoor and outdoor play – something for everyone, whatever the weather. For a special treat, visit the Destruction Playground, with mini-diggers and lots of play equipment. Funfair tokens are 50p and most rides take one token. As a special treat, we’ve planned a day when Ben and Holly will be appearing several times during the day. 31st August	Lille Antiques Fair, (Includes party night with unlimited wine and Draught Heineken) 4 days 3 Nights
	On the first weekend of September, a million visitors throng the streets of Lille for an enormous boot fair, selling paintings, antiques, ornaments, furniture and other treasures .Try the moules-frites – mussels and chips and see which stall are the most popular by the number of empty shells outside the stall. We stay at the Mercure Lille Airport Hotel on a bed and buffet breakfast basis, including a short ferry crossing, and party night on Saturday to include disco, a buffet starter and dessert, plus wine and mineral water, (unlimited wine and draught Heineken, between 8.00pm and 02.00am). 	Blackpool, Britain’s favourite seaside resort, is packed wall to wall with attractions, entertainment and top line shows. The Illuminations have attracted generations of visitors for more than a century and is known as the greatest “free” show on earth. We are staying at the Elgin Hotel, (see trip advisor for comments), near the cliffs on the promenade, on a d/b/b basis for 4 days, 3 nights. 	This year, some members were disappointed as our London weekend sold out so fast, so we’re advertising well in advance.
